Herrity Headlines
April 6, 2025
It felt great to be back on the campaign trail this week following my heart surgery and a March that was marked by tremendous progress in our campaign.
Over the last several weeks, I’ve been overwhelmed by the support flowing in from across the Commonwealth – from volunteers eager to help secure victory in November, to the generosity of donors large and small, to new supporters in every corner of Virginia committing to cast their ballots for me in the Lt. Governor’s race.
With March behind us, we’ve finished the hard work to ensure that my name will be listed on the ballot, we have a great start on raising the resources we will need to win in November and we have made significant strides in putting in place a statewide team to get voters out beginning with the early vote in September.
After a short break for heart surgery, I was energized to be back on the campaign trail this week. This race is critically important to Virginia’s future. I was glad for the opportunity to address a group of fired up supporters from Prince William County this week who understand how important it is to hold our statewide elected offices this year.

It was a pleasure to join the Culpeper Republican Committee at their annual Reagan dinner, and hear from Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears on her campaign for Governor – her first public speech after officially becoming our nominee!
As the daughter of Jamaican immigrants, a marine, and the first Black woman to hold statewide elected office in Virginia, Lieutenant Governor Sears’ story is a great example of the opportunities that Republicans strive to provide to Virginians and all Americans. I look forward to working with her to keep Virginia moving in a commonsense, conservative direction.

I wrapped up this week at home in Fairfax at the Korean Community Service Center’s 51st Annual Gala. One of the secrets to Republican success in Fairfax County involves making and building relationships with groups and organizations that share our commonsense, conservative ideals. I have been working with the Korean community in Fairfax since I was first elected, a tradition I will continue as Lt. Governor.
Over the last several weeks, the campaign has reached huge milestones on the path to winning in November.
On March 17th, the first day that filing opened, our campaign submitted more than 15,000 signatures of registered voters petitioning that my name be listed on the ballot this year. Thanks to the hard work of supporters like yourself, we blew past the required number of 10,000 and were the first Republican to file signatures for Lieutenant Governor. As the first to file, we’re also guaranteed to be listed first on the ballot if there’s a primary election.

On April 1st, we announced that the campaign has raised over a half million dollars from supporters around the Commonwealth in the first quarter of 2025. I’m truly thankful for the outpouring of support. This is the largest first quarter fundraising total ever raised by a Republican running for the office of Lieutenant Governor. Thank you!!!
As we promised, once we got past petition signatures we will get to work on campaigning. We had door knocking and phone call events this weekend and we will be ramping up our efforts. If you haven’t had a chance to sign up and get involved, we’d love to have your help!
Thank you for your continued support, and I’ll see you on the campaign trail soon!
Respectfully,

Pat Herrity
Springfield District Supervisor, Fairfax County
Candidate for Lieutenant Governor
